This micro switch mounts on the side of the retiring cam rail and removes half of the turns on this double wound coil once it’s been activated. It helps in keeping the coil cooler under normal operating conditions. This switch is used only for the Hazardous Location Retiring Cams and Hazardous Location Versions of the SR, LR, HG-1, HG-2, CV-1 & CV-2.
